What moves the price

Why two quotes can differ by thousands

The wall is the variable. Expect cost to rise with: scaffolding and difficult access; removal of old render (often +£800–£1,200 with a larger skip); substrate repairs found once the old render is off; render system and brand; and finish complexity (a coarse or textured finish costs more than smooth). A reliable price comes from a survey, not a phone estimate — which is exactly what your matched specialist provides free.

Regional note

London & the South East run higher

Labour rates vary by region. London and the South East typically sit 15–25% above the national ranges above; parts of the North and Wales sit a little below. Use the per-area pages for a local indication, but treat every figure as a starting point, not a quote.
